Free WWAY Senior Lifestyle Expo happening today at Independence Mall

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The WWAY Senior Lifestyle Expo is underway today at Independence Mall, bringing dozens of local vendors and service providers together to connect seniors and caregivers with resources across the Cape Fear region.

The event runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

Now in its fifth year, the expo highlights health, wellness, housing and care options for older adults, including medical services, assisted living communities, rehabilitation providers and in-home care support.

Organizers say the goal is to give attendees direct access to information that can help seniors maintain independence and improve quality of life.

Local healthcare organizations, senior living facilities and community service providers are among those participating, offering information and answering questions one-on-one throughout the day.

WWAY is also expected to provide live coverage from the event floor, featuring interviews and highlights from the expo.

The Senior Lifestyle Expo is held annually at Independence Mall in Wilmington.
