Gas leak causes Wilmington residents to evacuate

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington fire crews evacuated several residents, and closed down the 500 Block of S. 7th St., after workers hit a gas line earlier today.

Dispatch says workers were fixing an AC unit at a residence and cut the line.
