Good Friends of Wilmington opens ticket sales for annual luncheon

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Tickets are now on sale for the 28th annual Good Friends of Wilmington luncheon, scheduled for Dec. 9 at the Wilmington Convention Center.

The event, called “Gather & Give,” will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tickets are $50 per person.

Good Friends of Wilmington is a nonprofit that provides direct financial assistance to New Hanover County residents facing medical crises, housing instability and other financial hardships.

The organization says it raised $125,000 in 2025 to support local families. Since its founding in 1996, Good Friends of Wilmington says it has distributed nearly $2 million in assistance.

The annual luncheon serves as a fundraiser for the organization’s assistance programs.
