Hallsboro Artesia Elementary dismisses early, closed Friday due to stomach illness outbreak

HALLSBORO, NC (WWAY) — An elementary school in Columbus County closed its doors early on Thursday afternoon.

Hallsboro Artesia Elementary sent students home at 12:15 p.m. due to the outbreak of a stomach illness.

The school will be closed Friday to help prevent the spread of the illness.
