Jazz Under the Stars returns to Ingram Planetarium in November

SUNSET BEACH, NC (WWAY) — Ingram Planetarium will host another installment of its Jazz Under the Stars concert series on Wednesday, Nov. 4, featuring live music beneath the planetarium’s dome.
The concert begins at 6 p.m. and will feature the jazz group AfterHours, joined by guest musician Paul Murtha on trumpet and flugelhorn.
The performance will take place inside the planetarium’s 84-seat theater, which features a 40-foot domed screen.
Organizers say attendance is limited to 80 guests, and tickets are expected to sell out. Attendees are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance and arrive at least 15 minutes before the performance.
Two businesses in The Village at Sunset Beach are also offering discounts to concert ticket holders from Nov. 4 through Nov. 6.
Salt + Vine will offer a 5% discount, while Fibber McGees will offer 15% off orders. Guests must present their Jazz Under the Stars tickets to receive the discounts.
