Leland PD investigating alleged shooting at Bojangles in Leland

LELAND, NC (WWAY) — The Leland Police Department is investigating a shooting reported Monday night at the Bojangles on Village Road.

Police responded to the restaurant around 7:30 p.m.

One adult male was injured in the shooting and transported to a hospital for treatment. His injuries are considered non-life-threatening.

Police say all individuals involved have been detained as the investigation continues.

There is no ongoing threat to the public.
