Magnolia Grove Design & Cabinetry celebrates new Wilmington studio with ribbon cutting

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A new kitchen and bath design studio is welcoming clients to a distinctive new home on Market Street, blending residential charm with design inspiration in a setting unlike a traditional showroom.
Magnolia Grove Design & Cabinetry recently relocated to 2305 Market Street, transforming a 1920s bungalow into a curated design studio aimed at creating a more comfortable and collaborative experience for homeowners, builders and design professionals.
The company will celebrate its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 3. Community members are invited to tour the remodeled space and meet the Magnolia Grove team.
Rather than featuring rows of displays and sales counters, the new studio was intentionally designed to feel more like a home, with inviting rooms and thoughtfully arranged design elements meant to inspire conversation and creativity.
“We wanted the space to feel warm and inviting,” owner Jill McGlaughlin said. “Design decisions happen best when people are comfortable and not overwhelmed. This century-old home was remodeled with our clients in mind. Its warm, cozy rooms invite you to move through the space discovering one-of-a-kind, inspiring designs.”
The move also marks an important chapter for the company, which was founded in Virginia in 2001 as Classic Kitchen and Bath. After expanding to Wilmington in 2021, the business rebranded about a year ago as Magnolia Grove Design & Cabinetry to reflect what leaders describe as a more design-focused identity shaped by more than 25 years of experience.
“We know, firsthand, that building or remodeling can be overwhelming and that clients appreciate choices as well as guidance,” McGlaughlin said. “This new space allows us to have real conversations about how people live and how they want their homes to feel.”
