Man accused of sexually assaulting two girls

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A Johnston County man is in the Brunswick County Detention Center accused of sexually assaulting two young girls.

Melecio Rubio Villagran, 23, is charged with indecent liberties with a child and sexual battery.

According to warrants, the alleged assaulted happened between June 1 and June 30.

The two female victims are 11 and 12 years old.

Villagran is under a $40,000 bond.
