Man with ties to Wilmington arrested for sexual assault; police say there could be more victims

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A man with ties to Wilmington is charged for sexually assaulting a woman, according to the Holly Springs Police Department.

Thomas “Tucker” James Martin, 37, of Apex was arrested Tuesday on two counts of second-degree forcible sexual offense.

The investigation is ongoing and authorities are requesting your help as they believe there are other unidentified victims.

Wilmington police say Martin lives in Wilmington 15 years ago. They say if you’ve had contact with him over the last 20 years and wish to speak to a detective, call (910) 343-3609.
