Manga and Japanese Animation Fandom comes to the Wilmington Anime-Fest

Looking for a place to show off your love for all things anime and manga? Make your way to the Wilmington Anime-Fest on Sunday. This annual anime collectors’ mecca convention is located in the beautiful City of Wilmington, North Carolina. It is organized by OurCons, known for providing conventions throughout the country that spotlight various fandoms of multiple genres. As a long-time collector of anime, manga and pop culture items the promoter brings Wilmington an event that will satisfy all anime fandom!

There will be vendors, manga authors, local artists, anime inspired crafters, cosplay artists, activities, costume contests, karaoke, and much more. The event is family friendly and fun for the whole family.

The Anime-Fest will take place on June 28th from 10am to 5pm. The event will take place at the Hotel Ballast at 301 N. Water Street, Wilmington, North Carolina, 28401. Tickets are $20 and kids’ admission is free. More information is available at wilmingtonanimefest.com.
