Marry Me Military wedding set for Friday in Southport

SOUTHPORT, NC (WWAY) — Thursday was all about friends, family and most importantly love for the Marry Me Military couple here in Southport.

Samantha Lawrence and Adam Franklin will tie the know Friday, but Thursday at the rehearsal dinner it was a celebration of good friends and family back together again in their hometown.

Adam is in the Air Force and the couple decided to apply for Marry Me Military when they decided to get hitched earlier than initially planned.

As for what the couple is looking forward to most in their wedding day?

“I’m the most nervous for him to see me in my dress,” said Samantha.

“And I’m the most excited to see her in her dress,” Adam said.

Samantha said they were shocked when they won, but now they are just excited to see everything coming together so wonderfully.

Friday is the big day, and we’ll be here for all the festivities.
