Matilda the Musical Jr. comes to Hampstead Annex June 4–7

HAMPSTEAD, NC (WWAY) — A story of courage, imagination, and standing up for what’s right comes to life this June as Untitled Theatre Productions presents Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical Jr. at the Hampstead Annex.

Performances will run June 4–7, beginning with a 7:00 p.m. performance on Thursday, June 4 and concluding with a Sunday matinee on June 7.

Based on Roald Dahl’s beloved story, the high-energy Broadway Junior production follows Matilda, an extraordinary young girl with a vivid imagination and a sharp mind, as she dares to challenge the world around her and shape her own destiny. Filled with humor, heart, and standout musical numbers, the production offers a family-friendly theatrical experience for audiences of all ages.

All performances will take place at the Hampstead Annex. Tickets are $17 and are available now on the organization’s website.
