Meet author of ‘The Lethal Fisherman’ J.J. Burke this weekend

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) —  J.J. Burke has penned a story of intrigue and suspense wrapped in the life of a man seeking the quiet life of a fisherman in “The Lethal Fisherman“.

Burke is a local author who pulled experiences from his own life to enrich the story of Jon Morton, a retired special forces vet.  Morton saw violence and death in the military and is looking for a peaceful life when fate changes things for him.

While fishing, Morton finds a body floating in the ocean.  The discovery leads to bloody memories and the beginning of a very real nightmare.

Meet the man behind the story Saturday at Barnes & Noble in Wilmington.  He will be answering questions and signing books from 2 – 5 pm.
