Meeting seeks feedback on plan to improve traffic in Port City

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Transportation planners are looking for feedback on a plan to make getting around Wilmington better.

The Wilmington Urban Area Metropolitan Planning Organization is holding a public workshop on the Draft Wilmington Collector Street Plan. Collector streets link local streets to major streets and help better distribute vehicle, bike and pedestrian traffic.

The public workshop is from 5 until 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Wilmington City Hall.
