According to a spokesman with the City of North Myrtle Beach, Nicolas McIver and Terrell Freeman have been identified as suspects in the death of Amanda Fisher. Fisher’s body was found in a K&W Cafeteria parking lot Saturday morning.

The spokesman said the two men are in custody in Charlotte and are awaiting extradition. He said McIver was picked up for burning the victim’s car and possessing a stolen vehicle. The spokesman said Freeman was picked up for violating probation when he traveled out-of-state.

While the motives remain unclear, the StarNews reports Fisher was a witness in a 2012 murder trial that resulted in a hung jury.
