Meth lab bust in Boiling Spring Lakes

BOILING SPRING LAKES, NC (WWAY) — Boiling Spring Lakes Police have arrested a man on several drug charges after they say they found a meth lab in the woods near his home.

According to a news release, around 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, officers responded to the 1800 block of Beech Road.

They arrested Christopher Michael Vallee, 33, and charged him with the following crimes:

  • Possession of Precursor chemicals (Felony)
  • Possession of Methamphetamine (Felony)
  • Manufacture Methamphetamine (Felony)
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Misdemeanor)

Valle is in the Brunswick County Detention Center under a $40,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.

The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation, the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office, Boiling Spring Lakes Volunteer Fire Department assisted with the investigation and clean-up of the items used in the meth lab.
