More than 5,600 people without power in New Hanover County
NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Duke Energy is reporting 5,697 customers are without power Wednesday morning in the Ogden area.
According to the company’s outage map, it was first reported just after 7:30 a.m. Expected restoration time is 11:30 a.m.

New Hanover County Dispatch said they are not aware of any accidents that may have caused it; however, troopers are in the area helping to direct traffic.
Use caution when driving in that area and treat every intersection as a four-way stop.
