Motorists continue to search for gas stations with fuel

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) —Motorists continue to search for fuel, as many stations continue to post “out of gas” signs on their pumps.

One local gas station has attendants directing people to the pumps to reduce long lines. Many other stations are completely out of gas, and those with fuel, quickly becoming a hot commodity.

One gas station employee said a tanker truck dropped off fuel this morning, and it didn’t take long for motorists to line up for a fill up.

“We went through a thousand gallons of gas in the first hour of the truck being here, when the truck pulled up we had people lined up parking lot, down 17,” said Max Lainer, gas station employee.

Many gas stations across the area have not yet gotten information on when their next gas delivery will be.
