Museum of Coastal Carolina hosting fifth annual Low Country Boil

OCEAN ISLE BEACH, NC (WWAY) — The Museum of Coastal Carolina will host its fifth annual Low Country Boil on Sunday, Sept. 20.
The event will take place from 4:30 to 7 p.m. and will feature coastal food, live music, lawn games and drinks.
Shrimply Delicious Catering of Shallotte will prepare a menu featuring shrimp, clams, mussels, sausage, potatoes, corn, coleslaw, hushpuppies and cornbread.
Beer and wine will be available for purchase, along with soft drinks and water.
Guests can bring a lawn chair or use tables provided at the event. Both dine-in and carry-out options will be available.
Live music will be provided by Johnny White, and lawn games will also be available throughout the event.
The museum and its exhibits will remain open for guests to view during the event.
Tickets are $40 for nonmembers and $35 for museum members. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
Proceeds from the event will support operations of the Museum of Coastal Carolina and Ingram Planetarium, which are operated by the Ocean Isle Museum Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
The Museum of Coastal Carolina is located at 21 East Second St. in Ocean Isle Beach. The museum features saltwater aquariums, a live touch tank, interactive exhibits, lectures and family programs.
