NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament, get your bracket ready

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Six ACC teams will be playing in the 2015 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. Virginia and Duke won’t have to travel far for games this week. They’re both headed to Charlotte. Four teams from North Carolina made the field: Duke, North Carolina, NC State and Davidson.

CAA champion Northeastern will face Notre Dame on Thursday in Pittsburgh. The Huskies defeated UNCW last Sunday in the semifinals of the CAA Tournament in Baltimore. Notre Dame defeated North Carolina on Saturday in Greensboro.

Big South Tournament champion Coastal Carolina will play Wisconsin in Omaha. Laney High grad Elijah Wilson, a sophomore at Coastal Carolina, was recently named the MVP of the Big South Tournament. This is the second consecutive NCAA appearance for the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers.
