NCWorks is hosting an outdoor, walk-up career fair in the Cape Fear

WIMINGTON, NC – NCWorks is holding an outside, walk up career fair from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00p.m. on June 3 at Port City Community Church located at 250 Vision Drive.

The event is hosted by New Hanover County NCWorks, Cape Fear Workforce Development
Board, and the Lower Cape Fear Human Resources Association.

Wilmington Mayor, Bill Saffo, will be in attendance to address employers and job seekers
at 9:30a.m.

NCWorks is North Carolina’s workforce system. NCWorks will have their Job link van and staff at the event to assist job seekers. Job seekers can take advantage of free services including searching for jobs, creating resumes, and finding education and training.

Employers can utilize free services such as finding candidates, posting jobs, and searching for labor market information.

The Lower Cape Fear Human Resources Association will be on hand to provide on the spot
resume writing assistance for job seekers.

The Cape Fear Workforce Development Board (CFWDB) provides free services to job seekers and businesses through our regional NCWorks Career Center system for the counties of Brunswick, Columbus, New Hanover, and Pender.
