New Hanover Co. looking for people with ideas and vision

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — New Hanover County Government is launching a new initiative to develop a vision for the county over the next 25 years and leaders want your input.

The New Hanover County Comprehensive Plan is a guide that addresses our community’s current development trends, determines a vision for how the County should develop and then determines a plan for how to achieve the vision.

The official launch will be Thursday at the Government Center from 3-5 p.m. You’ll be able to learn about six different theme committees.
