All Mideastern Conference awards announced

Laney's Coult Culler is the football player of the year. Hoggard's Scott Braswell has been named the coach of the year. 2013 Mideastern Conference awards and all-conference teams for all of the fall sports except football were released two weeks ago. All conference honors for football were announced today.

videoThe UNCW men's basketball team held a intrasquad scrimmage on Thursday night at Trask Coliseum. We were there for that along with three different state playoff high school volleyball games. videoBoth UNCW basketball teams have been picked to finish in 8th place in the CAA for the upcoming hoops season. The UNCW soccer team knocked off another ACC team.
