WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Jurors spent a full day Wednesday deliberating in the double-murder trial of Omonte Bell and Dyrell Green.

Bell and Green are charged with first-degree murder in the July 2021 deaths of Bri’yanna Williams and Koredreese Tyson. Prosecutors allege the two were involved in the killings at the home of George Taylor III, the former chief operating officer of Tru Colors Brewing.

The jury began reviewing the case after receiving instructions from the court on Tuesday, following weeks of testimony and closing arguments from both the prosecution and defense.

Throughout the day, jurors examined evidence and testimony presented during the trial as they worked toward reaching a verdict.

No verdict was reached before court adjourned Wednesday afternoon.

Deliberations are scheduled to resume Thursday morning.
