Novant Health previews new ExpressCare clinic opening tomorrow in New Hanover County
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Novant Health ExpressCare is adding a new walk-in care location in southern New Hanover County.
The clinic is scheduled to open Wednesday, Sept. 2, inside New Hanover Primary Care – Myrtle Grove at 5145 South College Road in Wilmington.
The location will be open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., according to Novant Health.
Services will include treatment for minor injuries and illnesses, including sprains, strains, cuts requiring stitches, the flu, strep throat and ear infections.
The clinic will also evaluate flare-ups and worsening symptoms for people with chronic conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, the health system said.
Additional services include flu and COVID-19 vaccinations, school, sports and camp physicals, as well as on-site laboratory services and diagnostic imaging.
The clinic will treat new and established patients who are at least 6 months old.
