Part of Brunswick Co. highway closed after tractor-trailers crash
BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Brunswick County Dispatch said two tractor-trailers crashed early Friday morning, which is causing major delays and parts of Highway 17/74/76 to close.
Dispatchers said the call came in just after 7 a.m. on Highway 17/74/76 near Maco Road. They said the westbound lanes are closed, and will remain that way for some time while crews work to clear the road.
No injuries have been reported, but dispatchers said one of the 18-wheelers was on its side. We’re waiting to hear back from NC Highway Patrol to get more details as they investigate.
