Pedestrian struck by car in downtown Wilmington

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Emergency officials responded to a call at the intersection of Grace and 3rd streets early this evening after they say a person was hit by a car.

The call came in around 5:15 p.m. Monday evening. An officer on site said the person was trying to walk across the street.

There are no major injuries.
