Pender Co. man charged with more than 27 sexually related counts

PENDER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Pender County Sheriff’s Office arrested and charged Danny Dewitt Strickland today on 27 different sexually related charges. Strickland has been previously charged with four sexually related counts.

Strickland is charged with nine counts of First Degree Statutory Sex Office of a Child, nine counts of Indecent Liberties with a Child and nine counts of Crimes Against Nature.

Strickland was previously charged and was on a $250,000 bond for two counts of First Degree Statutory Sex Offense of a Child and two counts of Indecent Liberties with a Child.

As a result of the additional 27 sexual related charges and a different victim, Strickland is now on a total of $5,150,000 bond.
