Pender County resident killed in single vehicle accident on Blueberry Road

PENDER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A Pender County resident is dead following a single-vehicle car crash on Blueberry Road near Currie.

Sergeant Mark Myers with the North Carolina State Highway Patrol confirmed Justin Ramon Farrow, 28, was driving a Dodge Caravan south on Blueberry Road when he went off the road to the right, overcorrected, went back across the road to the left, and crashed into a tree.

The driver was the only occupant inside the vehicle.

NC Highway Patrol said impairment is suspected as a factor in the crash.

The NC Medical Examiner’s Office will perform a toxicology report.
