Police investigate after crash on Wrightsville Beach Drawbridge

WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, NC (WWAY) — Police are investigating after a crash on the Heidi Trask Drawbridge in Wrightsville Beach Monday night.

New Hanover County Dispatch said the call came in just before 7:30 p.m.

It appears that an SUV was flipped upside down on the bridge.

Wrightsville Beach Police responded to the scene. We’re waiting to hear back from officers for more information.
