President to honor Munley

When President Barack Obama gives his State of the Union speech tomorrow, a familiar face will be sitting with the First Lady.

The President will recognize Carolina Beach native Kim Munley for her role in helping end November’s shooting at Fort Hood, TX.

Munley is recovering from knee replacement surgery she needed after she was shot during the rampage.
