Program is getting ‘thrifty’ for education
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — One group is getting thrifty to collect money for education and you can now find a Communities in Schools thrift shop in Leland.
The new shop is located on Village Road in Leland. CIS serves Brunswick County with school and drop out prevention programs, and money from the store will go to those programs.
The store is open and accepting donations. According to a press release, they are still searching for volunteers for various jobs within the store.
