R.O.W Donation to “Kids Making It”

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY)– The President of Residents of Old Wilmington presented “Kids Making It” with a check to help fund their six-week summer program for middle school age children.

“Kids Making It” works with at-risk children, teaching them woodworking skills and providing them with a safe environment when school is out.

Organizers say that this donation will help make the summer a little brighter for more than sixty area kids. Organizers hope that this summer will be the beginning of something big not only for middle school students, but for children of all ages.
