Scare Faire & Halloween Market coming to Wilmington Saturday

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A Halloween-themed market featuring local vendors, trick-or-treating and family activities is coming to Wilmington this weekend.

The Scare Faire & Halloween Market will be held Saturday, Oct. 10, from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Elks Lodge, located at 5102 Oleander Drive.

The event will feature local makers and vendors selling items including candles, crystals, handmade jewelry, crochet items, original artwork, baked goods and more. Tarot readers will also be on site.

Several hands-on activities are planned throughout the event.

Black Sheep Does Stuff will host a DIY tie-dye tent where participants can tie-dye a shirt, bandana or tote bag. The event will also include a Goblin Coloring Corner with crayons and colored pencils.

Children and families can take part in indoor trick-or-treating with participating vendors.

Food and drinks will also be available for purchase from Glizzie’s on the Go and the Botanical Coffee Bar.

Admission is $5. Children 12 and younger can attend for free.
