Set sale announced for Amazon Prime series ‘The Runarounds’

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Fans of Amazon Prime Video’s “The Runarounds” will have an opportunity to purchase items used during production when a set sale takes place later this month in Wilmington.
According to organizers, the sale will feature costumes, props, set decorations and other items associated with the series. The event is scheduled for June 12 through June 14 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day at 1325 Castle Hayne Road. Organizers say cash will be the only form of payment accepted.
“The Runarounds” premiered last year on Amazon Prime Video. Created by Wilmington resident and “Outer Banks” creator Jonas Pate, the series followed a group of recent high school graduates pursuing their dream of starting a rock band.
Unlike many productions filmed in southeastern North Carolina, the series portrayed Wilmington as itself, featuring recognizable local locations throughout the city and surrounding area.
The show ran for one season and was not renewed for a second season.
