South Columbus football shuts out Red Springs 49-0 to continue winning momentum
COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The South Columbus Stallions continued their strong stretch of play Friday night, shutting out Red Springs 49-0. South Columbus entered the matchup looking to keep its momentum going, and the Stallions delivered with a dominant offensive performance.
Freshman running back K.J. McClure helped lead the charge, scoring on a 4-yard touchdown run. Sophomore running back Cam Bellamy followed with a touchdown of his own, fighting through multiple tackles to reach the end zone.
The Stallions also found success through the air, with senior Preston Dager hauling in a long touchdown pass to add to South Columbus’ lead. South Columbus went on to secure the 49-0 victory, keeping its momentum rolling as the season continues.
