Southport-Fort Fisher ferry on amended schedule Thursday

SOUTHPORT, NC (WWAY) — The North Carolina Department of Transportation’s Ferry Division announced it will be running an amended schedule on its Southport-Fort Fisher route Thursday so that workers can make a steering system upgrade onboard the M/V Fort Fisher.

The amended schedule for January 29 will be as follows:

Departing Southport: 5:30 a.m., 7, 7:45, 8:30, 9:15, 10:45, 1:45 p.m., 3:15, 4:45, 6:15.

Departing Fort Fisher: 6:15 a.m., 7:45, 8:30, 9:15, 10, 11:30, 2:30 p.m., 4, 5:30, 7.

The Southport-Fort Fisher route will resume its regular schedule on Friday, January 30.
