Southport-Fort Fisher Ferry back to partial service

SOUTHPORT, NC (WWAY) — The Southport-Fort Fisher Ferry is running, but only on a limited schedule for now.

The NCDOT says the ferry is on a one-boat schedule as of this morning. The M/V Fort Fisher went to Cherry Branch before the story, and is now on its way back to Southport.

The ferry should be back on its full schedule tomorrow.
