Southport-Fort Fisher Ferry routes cut Sunday morning

SOUTHPORT, NC (WWAY) — Maintenance means fewer runs for the Southport-Fort Fisher Ferry Sunday morning.

The NC Ferry Division says scheduled maintenance on the M/V Croatoan will mean a one-boat schedule Sunday morning.

The schedule for the morning/early afternoon hours will be as follows:

• From Southport: 7 a.m., 8:30, 11:30, 1p.m.
• From Fort Fisher: 7:45 a.m., 9:15, 12:15 p.m.

Maintenance is expected to be completed in time for the route to begin running its regular schedule beginning at 1:45 p.m., however more runs may be missed if there are unexpected delays.
