Southport police release surveillance video in search for suspects in pre-parade vandalism

According to police, the surveillance footage shows two individuals walking near the ABC store on North Howe Street around the time the vandalism is believed to have occurred.

Investigators say several chairs, tents and other personal items that had been placed along the parade route to reserve viewing spots were found with deep slash marks.

The investigation remains ongoing.

Anyone who recognizes the two individuals shown in the surveillance video or has information about the incidents is asked to contact the Southport Police Department.
