‘Still Moving’ benefits DREAMS of Wilmington this weekend

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Food, fun, shopping, music and dancing are all on tap for ‘Still Moving’, a benefit for DREAMS of Wilmington.

Norak Contemporary and Modern Dance Company founder Karon Tunis says the event is one-of-a-kind for the Cape Fear.  It starts with the Day Dreaming Vendor Fair featuring a variety of vendors.  It also features food trucks and live performances by Funky Leroy Harper, Jr & the Posse and the Warner Temple Mass Choir.  The fair is free and open to the public.

Following the fair is a show featuring area dancers doing their best modern and contemporary dances.  It is hosted by comedian and actor Orlando Jones.  Jones will also feature a stand-up routine as part of the show.

The entire event benefits DREAMS of Wilmington, a nonprofit dedicated to providing youth in need with high-quality, free-of-charge programming in the literary, visual, multimedia and performing arts.
