Sunset Beach road closure planned for stormwater repairs
SUNSET BEACH, NC (WWAY) — A road in Sunset Beach will be closed beginning Monday while crews replace a stormwater pipe beneath the roadway.
The Town of Sunset Beach says Rice Mill Circle near 227 Rice Mill Circle will be closed starting Oct. 26 and is expected to remain closed throughout the week.
The town says the closure is necessary so a contractor can complete stormwater repairs.
Drivers are being asked to use an alternate route and allow extra time when traveling in the area.
