Supply man arrested for attempted murder in Myrtle Beach shooting

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) – Tips led to the arrest of a Supply man wanted for a 2016 shooting.

US Marshals from the Eastern District of NC Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Alexander Lamont Grissett around 11:00 a.m.

They found him at a home on Cotton Patch Road in Shallotte.

He is charged with 3 counts of attempted murder and probation violation.

He was arrested in connection with a shooting that happened in Carolina Forest in October. Three other people also face charges.

According to WPDE, three other people from Supply, Nicole I. D’Ambrosio, 21; Shamar D. Fullwood, 19; and Frantz T. Mercer, 50, were all arrested on October 27 in connection with the October 2 shooting and armed robbery.

Police say D’Ambrosio arranged for three people to be robbed at a car off Stafford Drive in the Carolina Forest area of Horry County. During the robbery, shots were fired at the car the victims were in and one person was hit multiple times.
