Support Special Olympics at 2nd Annual ‘Bowling with Badges’

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Lace up and get ready for a strike! The UNCW Police Department is holding an event to benefit the Special Olympics of North Carolina.

Bowling with Badges is part of the Law Enforcement Torch Run campaign, an annual fundraiser for Special Olympics.

On Saturday, July 21 from 2-5 p.m., enjoy bowling, raffles and a whole lot of fun at Cardinal Lanes on Shipyard Blvd. in Wilmington.

Registration is $20 per person and includes shoe rental and three games of bowling. Teams are welcome with a limit of 5 people. All ages and skill levels are welcome. Special Olympic athletes are welcome to join for FREE.
