SWAT team arrests wanted man

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A SWAT team caught a wanted man in the Hillcrest Housing Community Thursday night.

Officers blocked off 14th and Dawson Streets to look for Christopher Reed. They said he is a felon, who they wanted for possession of a fire arm.

Officers said they had been looking for Reed since Wednesday night and were able to find him after getting a tip about where he was.
