Tar Heels stay on top
UNDATED (AP) — Road wins over Ohio State and Kentucky have kept North Carolina at the top of the men’s Associated Press Top-25 college basketball poll this week.
The Tar Heels received 45 first place votes after improving to 7-and-0. Second-ranked Memphis got 22 first-place votes. Kansas, Texas and Georgetown round out the top five.
UCLA dropped five spots to seventh after being upset at home by the Longhorns Sunday.
The second-five consists of Duke, UCLA, Washington State, Michigan State and Tennessee.
Three teams fell out of the poll after losses to ranked teams.
Wisconsin dropped from 20th, North Carolina State fell from 24th and Kansas State dropped from 25th.
