Teen, juvenile charged with murder in death of Wilmington man

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Two teens face murder charges and another is dead following a shooting Tuesday night in Wilmington.

Police arrested Devontae Mitchell, 18, and a 15-year-old late Wednesday night for the murder of Tomar Bloodworth, 19.

Bloodworth was shot in the 2800 block of Chestnut Street around 8:50 p.m. Tuesday.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
