Teen pleads in fatal wreck that killed her dad

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (StarNewsOnline.com) — A Robeson County teen pleaded guilty Tuesday to misdemeanor death by motor vehicle in a fatal accident in June in which her father was killed.
In exchange for the plea, charges of felony death by motor vehicle and misdemeanor driving while intoxicated were dismissed against Brianna Galloway, 18.
Galloway was visiting her father, Troy Kevin Galloway, on June 28 when he took her to a friend’s home in Holden Beach to celebrate her graduation, Assistant District Attorney Gina Essey said.
