Three arrested, fourth sought after altercation at Wilmington car dealership

Wilmington, NC (WWAY) — Three people have been arrested and a fourth is wanted after a physical altercation involving customers and employees at a Wilmington car dealership, according to police.

The Wilmington Police Department said officers responded Sept. 8 to Carwise Auto Sales on Carolina Beach Road after receiving a report of a physical disturbance.

Police said customers were attempting to retrieve property from a vehicle when dealership employees told them to leave the property. An argument followed and became physical before officers arrived, according to the department.

Police said they are aware of a video circulating online that allegedly shows the argument and assault.

Following an investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for simple assault.

Grant Parkins, 36, Tegan Canady, 37, and Carson Miller, 53, have been arrested and served with warrants, police said.

Stephen Oster, 36, also has an outstanding arrest warrant that had not been served as of Wednesday.

Police did not provide additional details about the circumstances surrounding the altercation or any injuries.
