Town of Leland launches free concert series at Founders Park
LELAND, NC (WWAY) — The Town of Leland has launched its new “Live in Leland” concert and entertainment series, bringing free live music and family-friendly events to the amphitheater at Founders Park.
The series debuted with the grand opening of Founders Park on July 31. Upcoming events will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the park, located at 113 Town Hall Drive.
According to the town, the series will feature live music, theater performances, local food trucks, a beer garden and yard games.
The remaining schedule includes:
- Aug. 13: Departure: The Journey Tribute Band
- Aug. 21: Aesop’s Fables presented by the Brunswick Arts Council
- Aug. 27: The British Invaders
- Sept. 3: Dear MariBella and the Pig Kickers
The Town of Leland said road closures, parking information and any weather-related cancellations will be announced in advance on the town’s website and social media channels. Attendees are encouraged to bring folding chairs or picnic blankets, sunscreen, water and coolers.
